Joseph Campbell, when asked, “Who today interprets the divinity inherent in nature for us, and who are the shamans of our age to revive forgotten myths?” responded, “It is the artists who undertake this task. The artist is the one who makes myths relevant again.”

Another session in the series of literary meetings at Royan BookCity took place on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

The event was divided into two parts. In the first part, various speakers, including Hossein Alisharifi, Anousheh Monadi, Borzouyeh Farkhasir, and Mohammadreza Poorjafari, discussed the thoughts and works of writer and literary researcher Hossein Atashparvar, focusing on his novel “Blue Spring Street.” They analyzed Atashparvar’s work from formalist and symbolic perspectives, exploring the passage of myths and semiotics.
